This interactive e-learning experience is designed to help companies understand how their operations, value chains, products, or services may affect people and conflict dynamics when operating in — or connected to — conflict-affected contexts. With global armed conflicts at their highest levels since WWII, practical and responsible decision-making is more essential than ever.

Built on UNDP’s hHRDD Guide and Training Manual and adapted by Quizrr into an accessible digital format, the course includes six concise modules combining scenario-based learning, expert insights, and interactive knowledge checks to support real-world application.

Who Is It For?
  • Risk management, compliance, procurement, supply chain, sales & audit teams
  • Suppliers, business partners & value chain actors
  • NGOs and CSOs (eligible for free access)
What Learners Can Explore

– Risks of misuse of products in military occupation
– Mining operations near non-state armed groups
– Bidding and operating in conflict-affected areas
– Tech-enabled escalation risks and online harm
– Business expansion adjacent to conflict zones

Meet Us in Geneva —24–27 November

We’re excited to be part of the UN Business & Human Rights Forum taking place 24–26 November in Geneva — the world’s leading gathering on responsible business, due diligence, and human rights innovation. You can meet us throughout the event at the Marketplace, where we will showcase our new digital learning experience and discuss how organizations can build practical, scalable, and context-aware approaches to human rights due diligence — especially in high-risk and conflict-affected settings.

Business and Conflict Community of Practice (CoP) Annual Workshop on 27 November

We will also join the Business and Conflict Community of Practice (CoP) Annual Workshop on 27 November at the Geneva Graduate Institute Meeting and Conference Centre. While registration for this session is now closed, we look forward to contributing insights, sharing learning, and connecting with peers advancing responsible, resilience-focused business practices. This year’s theme — “From Risk to Resilience: Responsible Business in Conflict” — centers on turning frameworks into real action through shared learning, connection, and collaboration.

If you’re attending the UN Forum, come speak with us, experience the new learning firsthand, and explore how it can be integrated into risk, ESG, procurement, and supply chain processes.
