Wage Management Systems Digital Training Program

Need help? Contact our customer support—we're here to assist you.

Background

Welcome to the Wage Management Systems (WMS) digital training program in partnership with Bestseller, Decathlon, Fast Retailing, H&M, Mango, Ralph Lauren, Target and VF. This multi-language digital training program is part of a broader effort to support and enhance wage management systems in apparel & footwear supply chains. Some brands will be complimenting the digital training with in-person sessions, these do not replace the need to complete the digital training which will support the wider WMS curriculum.

Our strategy: this program gives your factory team and workforce access to structured capacity-building and digital training on wage management systems. Workers and company management both benefit from improved wage management systems - ultimately advancing supply chain responsibility beyond basic compliance, encouraging lasting behavioural change, and strengthening workplace dialogue.

Digital Training Overview

The digital training is designed around two learning journeys: one for management, consisting of four modules, and one for production workers, consisting of two modules.

Topics include:

·       Why wage management systems matter

·       Basic wage structures

·       Wage non-compliances: Prevention, mitigation and remedy

·       Wage setting & competitive compensation

·       Worker engagement & dialogue

Training is delivered through the Quizrr digital platform and can be completed on tablets, desktop/laptop computers, or smartphones, online or offline.

The digital training format

Interactive digital content — games, short live-action films, and quiz questions — delivered in local languages, designed to make learning on wage management systems engaging and efficient.

Quizrr Dashboard

The Quizrr dashboard provides real-time visibility into training progress across sites, allowing you to track completion, identify risk areas, and take action to strengthen compliance. Log in to the dashboard here.

Our Objectives

Build awareness and a shared understanding of the foundations of effective wage management as the first step toward stronger WMS practices.

  • Build awareness of effective Wage Management Systems
Understand what a WMS is, why it matters, and how it benefits workers and the business.
  • Increase understanding of core wage management practices
Build knowledge of wage structures, payroll, working hours, overtime, deductions, payslips, and recordkeeping.
  • Introduce fair and transparent wage practices
Raise awareness of wage review and progression, skills and performance, incentives, and worker communication.
  • Encourage continuous improvement
Help management and worker representatives recognize opportunities to strengthen wage management practices and identify areas for future action.

Through these program objectives, we aim to strengthen supplier capability, preparedness, and ownership—supporting sustainable improvements in working conditions and a more stable and resilient supply chain.

Engage apparel & footwear suppliers and workers through training to build a stable, resilient supply chain.

  • Support apparel & footwear suppliers in meeting contractual obligations and staying current on labor standards amid emerging human rights due diligence legislation.
  • Empower apparel & footwear suppliers to manage their own performance and improve awareness, knowledge, and working conditions — connecting supplier-ownership efforts across the supply chain.

As a participating supplier, you'll be among the first to experience these trainings, and your feedback will help evaluate their impact on the supply chain and worker wellbeing.

Quizrr in Action

Milestones

A kick-off webinar is scheduled as the first step to help suppliers across participating countries understand their role in the program.

You can register for the kick-off webinar here:

If you missed the webinar, you can find a recording of the sessions here:

A registration link is provided after the kick-off webinar to enable suppliers to register their facilities and begin the training program.

Once a facility is registered on Quizrr, the Factory Implementation Team (consisting of two Factory Management Representatives and two Worker Representatives) should coordinate completion of the management modules.

There is also a digital training for workers, consisting of two modules that take approximately 30 minutes to complete – if you are unsure if your facility should include training for all workers, check with the brand that invited you.

Workers can complete the digital training using smartphones, tablets, or desktop/laptop computers and the Factory Implementation Team are responsible for coordination of worker training, where necessary.

After the training, feedback is collected to help improve future training and better understand participants’ experiences. Suppliers may also be invited to join a facilitated feedback session to share their perspectives and suggestions.

Ensuring Success for Deployment

Five steps to a successful rollout of the Quizrr digital training:

1. Build an implementation team

Assemble dedicated managers and employees as program champions. Brief them on goals and benefits, empower them to share key information with colleagues, and check in with them regularly.

2. Attend the kick-off webinar

Quizrr-hosted sessions explain how the training works, what results to expect, and how to encourage management and workers to participate.

3. Complete pre-deployment activities

Ensure your facility has registered to the Quizrr platform, and the Factory Implementation Team are confident in navigating the platform and how to access and distribute the training,

As training must be completed on digital devices (laptop/desktop computers, tablets or smartphones) check which devices are available at your facility and which will be used for manager and worker training.

If internet connectivity is not strong and stable, download the training content to a tablet or smartphone to ensure training can be completed without interruption.

Establish which training rooms will be used and prepare these for worker training, as necessary.

4. Set training plans to meet targets

The Factory Implementation Team should build a training plan that meets the training target, without disrupting production.

Training can be completed either individually, or in groups of up to 5 people, however the Factory Implementation Team and workers should not complete the training together, as the modules are different for these two groups.

Target completion rates will be set and shared by the brand that has invited your facility to participate.

All invited facilities are required to, at a minimum, ensure the Factory Implementation Team (two Factory Management Representatives and two Worker Representatives) have fully completed the digital training, but some brands will also require workers to complete the worker modules.

Creating and following a training plan closely ensures everyone that needs to, gets access to the training.

5. Stay transparent and follow up via the dashboard

Use the dashboard to monitor participation rates and review training results. Flag anticipated challenges early during regular check-ins with your brand partner.

FAQs

The Wage Management Systems (WMS) Initiative support suppliers in building stronger, more sustainable approaches to managing worker wages and improving financial well-being. The initiative goes beyond wage compliance by helping suppliers establish clear wage policies and processes, formalize wage review and progression systems for production employees, and strengthen the transparency and consistency of wage practices. Through assessment, capacity building, and continuous improvement, the WMS Initiative aims to create better outcomes for workers while helping suppliers strengthen workforce retention, engagement, productivity, and overall business performance.

The Quizrr digital training modules are designed to help suppliers understand Wage Management System requirements, strengthen payroll accuracy, and support compliance with labour laws. It provides standardized, practical guidance that can be accessed anytime. The Quizrr e-learning platform can be deployed for both management and workers.

Four modules are primarily intended for the Factory Implementation Team, responsible for developing Wage Management Systems in the factory. The Implementation Team should consist of minimum 2 selected factory management representatives (such as HR, Finance or Payroll, Sustainability or Compliance, and/or Industrial Engineers), and 2 Worker Representatives should also participate in digital training.

Each module is short and manageable and can be completed at your own pace. On average, participants should plan for 20 minutes per module + 20 minutes of reflection/ discussion. The modules are designed to be taken weekly, allowing learners to absorb the content comfortably without impacting daily work or operations, and keeping learning aligned with individual learning ability and absorption capacity. Do not leave a module part way through, or your progress will not be saved. If you have successfully completed a module, when you next connect to the training you can jump straight into the next module.

The digital training will be available in the languages understood by the factories. If a language is missing please reach out to your brand contact.

Completion of the assigned modules is an expected part of the WMS program roll out. Progress and completion is monitored to ensure readiness and to identify areas where additional support is needed.

Beyond wage compliance and requirements, the platform helps:

  • Build internal capability and confidence for effective and competitive wage-setting
  • Strengthen worker trust and motivation through transparency
  • Support long term, sustainable wage management practices connected with skills, experience, or job level.
  • Identify and reduce wage related risks.

The digital training covers key components of Wage Management Systems, including wage structures, working hours, overtime, deductions, payslips, record keeping, and grievance mechanisms. It also introduces best industry practices aligned with international standards and applicable local legal requirements.

There are no specific prerequisites to participate. The content and platform are designed to be easy and comfortable for both management and workers.
